Position: Research and Craft Consultant
Location: Delhi
About the Position
The Consultant is to undertake detailed Scoping Analysis and Technical Feasibility Study for craft clusters. He/she would be involved in conducting in-depth primary and secondary research of a particular craft, in a specified cluster/s. The craft may involve any kind of material – Hard, Soft or both (this will be communicated in advance). The person would need to travel to rural areas to access craft clusters for surveys, preparing the questionnaires and reports. The final documentation submitted should cover the detailed craft process, artisans background, infrastructure, wages, gaps and challenges, etc. It should provide useful recommendations, training requirements and the way forward for the craft cluster. Candidates with experience in field research and knowledge of crafts would be preferred.
