Quality Control Coordinator (Contract Basis)

Position – Quality Control Coordinator (Contract Basis)

Location- New Delhi

The primary responsibility of a quality control coordinator is to ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • QCC is in charge of making sure the artisan products meet acceptable quality standards.
  • QCC keeps the record of quality standards committed to the buyer and monitor the production quality to avoid wastage, returns and rejections.
  • Communication with vendors for the supply following strict timeline and technical specifications.
  • Monitoring all operations that affect quality.
  • Creating Quality Check reports generation in the standard format.
  • Tagging and packaging of the goods to be shipped.
  • Reporting the stock coordinator about the goods received and goods return.
  • Technical understanding of materials required to assist artisans for quality improvement.
  • Any other assignment deemed as necessary for the organization and the project.

Educational/Technical Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Working experience in manufacturing or production.
  • Knowledge of Export Shipping Documentation.

Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with qualification, work experience and salary history.

Research and Craft Consultant (Short-term assignments)

Position: Research and Craft Consultant

Location: Delhi

About the Position

The Consultant is to undertake detailed Scoping Analysis and Technical Feasibility Study for craft clusters. He/she would be involved in conducting in-depth primary and secondary research of a particular craft, in a specified cluster/s. The craft may involve any kind of material – Hard, Soft or both (this will be communicated in advance). The person would need to travel to rural areas to access craft clusters for surveys, preparing the questionnaires and reports. The final documentation submitted should cover the detailed craft process, artisans background, infrastructure, wages, gaps and challenges, etc. It should provide useful recommendations, training requirements and the way forward for the craft cluster. Candidates with experience in field research and knowledge of crafts would be preferred.

Educational/Technical Qualification:

  • Undergraduate or post graduates with at least 2 years of work experience in the field of crafts and research.
  • Understanding of materials and craft processes.
  • Freelance consultants are preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand the cluster and prepare questionnaires.
  • Conduct field research in craft clusters with artisans and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collect and document data.
  • Detailed Report Preparation.
  • Coordination with project staff and local field coordinators for on-ground work and local travel.
  • Decent level of photography.
  • Audio recording.
  • Any other related requirement.

Craftmark Associate (Short-term assignments)

About the Position

The post of Craftmark associate involves project-based work which includes activities namely…Craftmark verification and Craft documentation. AIACA has a set format for both, that one needs to follow. We guide the associate for the same. One would need to travel to rural areas to access craft clusters for documentation and craft based organization to be verified. The post is ideal for travel enthusiasts with a keen interest in handicrafts and handlooms.

Educational/Technical Qualification:

  • Undergraduate or post graduates with atleast 2 years of work experience in the field of handicrafts or handlooms.
  • Thorough understanding of material and craft processes.
  • Freelance consultants are preferred

  • Conduct field research in various craft clusters.
  • Collect and document data.
  • Document craft processes, if required.
  • Must have cameras and know photography.
