Srishti Verma is a graduate from Indian Institute Of Crafts and Design, Jaipur. She has worked closely on Research and Documentation projects with artisan communities, majorly in Kutch. Having worked in social sector and organizations like Khamir, Sahjeevan and Uravu, she understands difficulties of working in a craft sector and development of artisanal skills. Besides this, Srishti also inculcates strong entrepreneurial and managing skills through her previous work at the Dehaati Design Studio in Kutch, which she has co-founded in 2016. As an entrepreneur, she has also worked in areas of product development and marketing. Over the years, she has closely worked with potter communities and has consulted NGOs and academic institutions like National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad. With AIACA, Srishti has recently consulted on a sustainable study on clay craft clusters under the ‘Green Project’.
