AIACA is a membership based organization for the handicrafts and handloom sector. Membership is open to any organization, individual, producer NGO, private businesses or an international / domestic NGO working on promoting handicrafts and handlooms. AIACA reserves the right to reject membership applications based on verification of the applicant organization's activities.

• Frequent interactions amongst existing organizations with similar interests in the crafts sector by participating in the workshops and conferences organized by AIACA.
• AIACA assists member organizations in finding information relating to the crafts sector and taking action on issues facing crafts clusters.
• Through Craftmark and ESP, AIACA assists its member organizations by providing services like marketing, credit access, and other technical inputs, provided they are committed to improving their product quality and production systems as per the demands of the market.
