Who We Are
Incredible Kashmiri Crafts is a partnership firm and their mission is to revive traditional crafts of Kashmir. The organisation works towards enhancing economic development in rural as well as urban areas, and provides opportunities for income generation that empower artisans both socially and economically. The organisation is currently engaged in producing felted home furnishing items - Pattern, Embroidered and Pattern with Embroidery. Incredible Kashmiri Crafts is currently headed by Ms. Arifa.
Where we Work
The organisation works with a group of 15 people. Their manufacturing unit is at Srinagar.
How we Work
Incredible Kashmiri Crafts works with artisans who make the products in their production unit using traditional craft techniques of Kashmir that include hand embroidery and Numdha felting work. Numdha is considered a languishing craft in Kashmir. The organisation provides support to its artisans on design innovation, quality control and product development.
